Drew Smith’s Strategic Land team worked to secure a resolution to grant planning permission for the above site on behalf of a consortium of land owners.

The scheme comprises 950 Houses, along with Education, Commercial and Community facilities. The team worked with land owners, agents and consultants to promote this strategic site through the local authority’s emerging local plan process.

Drew Smith were key in drawing together the necessary parties and experts to deliver this exceptional scheme.

Clewers Lane

This site was acquired subject to achieving planning permission. Drew Smith promoted the land on their own behalf through the local authority’s emerging plan.

A planning application was progressed alongside the Council’s development allocation process, resulting in full planning consent for 30 residential units.

Construction is now well underway with completion of the first properties due in 2016.

Drew Smith’s Strategic Land team identified this edge of settlement ‘Countryside’ site as being a suitable location for residential development, capable of mitigating the established need for additional homes in the Borough.

Work was undertaken in close cooperation with an expert team of consultants to produce a high-quality development which was sensitive to its semi-rural setting.

The site now benefits from an Outline consent for up to 78 houses, with work anticipated to start on site in early 2016.
