Drew Smith is building 18 flats in 3 blocks of 6units at Trafalgar House, Seward Road in Hythe.
This is a cutting edge scheme utilising off site manufacturing and lean construction techniques to achieve savings in site construction time. The project is for Hyde Housing Association and in conjunction with New Forest District Council.
Here at the ‘Topping Out’ ceremony from left to right is Cllr Maureen Brown, Surinder Bains (Hyde Housing Association Managing Director- South) and Cllr Maureen McLean.
Surinder Bains said, "It is wonderful to witness the completion of the first homes at Trafalgar House. We set out to build homes that were great to look at but also offered space, good quality features, security and a sense of belonging to a community. In Trafalgar House I believe we have achieved this."
