As a Company with its roots based firmly in Southampton, Drew Smith Limited and its sister Company Drew Smith Homes are keen to put something back into the local community.

Jamie Pinchon, Neale Foulkes, Gary Smith (captain) and Andy Doswell won The Times Corporate Golf Challenge for 2004 and then went on to win the World Corporate Golf Challenge representing England in July 2005.

As this years championship kicked off, there were tense moments at the regional finals at Wokefield Park as Drew Smith and Mortimer Clinical Trials both scored 126 points to qualify for this years event. It was the highest number of points in the series so far, but Drew Smith clinched victory on countback. The same Drew Smith team are delighted to be returning to La Manga Club, having already experienced the quality of the event.

Chairman, Andy Doswell, already aware of the positive effects sports can have on the community through his sons involvement with the Winsor under 12's who play in the Southampton Tyro League, felt that sponsorship of local teams and events would be ideal.

Drew Smith are the main sponsors of both the Drew Smith Homes Saturday and Sunday League as well as entering a team in the Pitch Invasion 5-a-side League played at the Trojans Football Club on a Wednesday evening.

Andy Doswell also sponsored the National Fire Brigade 6-a-side competition which took place in July 2002.

Football isn't the only sport to benefit from Drew Smith sponsorship as the under 10's Rugby Team who again, play at Trojans Club will testify. Drew Smith Limited are now in their sixth year of sponsorship.

As a keen golfer, Andy is pleased to sponsor the new practice facilities which were erected recently at the Hampshire Golf Club in West End, Southampton.

Paul Doswell, Andy's brother and fellow Director of Drew Smith Homes has always had very close links with Eastleigh Football Club. Having played for the club for seven years and being the Director of Football for the club, who are in the The Nationwide Conference South Football League.
